HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US

According to scriptures, Jesus was made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2Co 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
How was Jesus “made sin” for us? Was it because “forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same”? (Heb 2:14) Was it because he was “made of a woman”? (Gal 4:4)

Or was it because He was put to death by being hanged on a tree?
Mat 27:35  And they crucified him, ….
Because “he that is hanged is accursed of God”:
Deu 21:22-23 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God); that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
Paul refers to this in his letter to the Galatians:
Gal 3:13  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
By being hanged on a tree, Jesus became cursed under the law. He also became “guilty of all”:
Jam 2:10  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, HE IS GUILTY OF ALL.
He that knew no sin was “made sin” for us “that we might be made the righteousness of God in him”. By His stripes we are healed. (1 Pet 2:24) “Christ hath redeemed us from the law, being made a curse for us”.  He “abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain (Jew and Gentile) one new man, so making peace”. (Eph 2:13-22) That “they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him that died for them and rose again”:
2Co 5:15-21 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

All Blessings in Christ,
Christine
